All D-Technik rifles possess muzzle extensions that are permanently attached (two holes drilled through the muzzle extension and tig welded into the threads). A muzzle extension or muzzle brake must be permanently attached to all D-Technik rifles to avoid an illegal SBR (short barrel rifle). The ATF Technology Branch has determined that this muzzle brake is not a flash hider.
ATTENTION CENTURY VZ2008 OWNERS: THESE BRAKES WILL FIT ORIGINAL CZECH BARRELS WITHOUT ISSUE, BUT A COUPLE OF CENTURY VZ2008 OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH SCREWING THIS BRAKE ONTO THEIR BARREL THREADS. JUST A HEADS-UP THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THIS BRAKE WILL NOT FIT THE CENTURY VZ2008 RIFLE WITHOUT CHASING THE THREADS WITH A 14X1RH DIE. The muzzle brake is a USA made copy of the original Czech military issue muzzle brake. It is 14x1 right hand thread. This excellent design is very effective in reducing muzzle lift and perceived recoil. Muzzle brakes are blued and may show minor scuff marks from shipping.
