The Sa vz. 58 California Sporter SS utilizes 10 round single stack magazines (stripper clips and all double stack magazines will NOT function with the Sporter SS model). The Sporter SS uses a magazine release that requires the use of a tool (magazine can be loaded when it has been removed from the rifle). The recommended tool is the "needle" found in the provided cleaning kit (see center thumbnail below). The magazine release on the Sporter SS model cannot be manipulated by thumb or finger.
All parts of the rifle, including the 10 round single stack magazine, are made in the Czech Republic. This 10 round magazine is made of high impact plastic resin that has been thoroughly tested. Tests include: dropping loaded magazine repeatedly onto a concrete floor, and withstanding crushing pressure from the weight of an automobile tire. All D-Technic manufactured rifles are imported without flash hiders and bayonet lugs due to current US importation laws. Our vz.58 barrels are cold hammer forged and chrome-lined - a must-have when using competitively priced corrosive ammuntion found through online wholesalers.
Each rifle is supplied with two 10 round magazines, sling, cleaning kit and CD.

Please note that we are unable to fill requests for a specific trigger guard, front sight, or sling swivel. Over the years, different trigger guards and sling swivels were manufactured as well as two different front sights (enclosed circle or ears protecting the front sight post). One is not better than the other – they are just slightly different.
